Here's an overview of a property that we recently assessed in this area:
" This building has recently been constructed and was occupied for the first time in July 2017. Its construction consists of brick outer walls and a corrugated sheet material roof. Its design is of one and two floors. The building houses the workshop, demonstration area, a small lab, meeting rooms, welfare facilities, storage rooms and rooms housing the utilities. There are sufficient smoke detectors situated around the building and a break glass call point system linked in to an independent fire alarm control panel. The first floor is the Customer Resource Centre this is accessed from an open planned staircase. This facility has only one means of egress in an emergency situation. There are also rooms housing utilities and a storage area. The storage area does have an alternative means of escape via a rope ladder that leads to the ground floor demonstration area. Heating is supplied via gas boilers heating hot air blowers at ceiling level and heating panels at roof level. "
