Here's an overview of one of our recent fire risk assessments for a property in Isleworth:
"The building is made of traditional materials (Bricks and mortar) in most areas. There has been an extension added in the past that is made from steel beams covered with corrugated metal sheeting. The building consists of a ground floor only. The premise is used as a warehouse to store the bales of rolled paper that have been constructed in various sizes and transported from PM9 building by mechanical means. The bales of paper are stacked in bays for storage and the loaded onto lorries by fork lift trucks. There are parts of the building that are not used and are sealed off from entering, these areas not inspected. Employees and visitors are required to alert the warehouse personnel of their presence by actuating warning lights before entry. The building is provided with sprinklers, a manual fire alarm, emergency lighting, hose reels and extinguishers. Access for fire fighting vehicles is possible and there is adequate hard standing and appropriate road system."
