Here's an overview of one of our recent fire risk assessments for a property in Fulham:
"This particular building is one of the few original structures, constructed during the 1800s, but it has undergone significant internal changes since being built to meet the changing demands of the occupiers business needs. The building is of two floors and of traditional bricks and mortar construction with a lightweight corrugated roof. Access is via a single wicket gate set into a large sliding door. In addition 4 additional exits are available at ground floor level. The ground floor is predominantly used as an engineering workshop which contains work benches and heavy machinery. There are also meeting rooms, offices and staff rest facilities. The first floor is accessed via an open metal stairs that lead up from the middle of the engineering workshop floor. An additional protected staircase is provided at the far end of the building and provides direct access to open air. The main part of the 1st floor is predominantly open plan with small offices provided around the outside edge."
