Here's an overview of one of our recent fire risk assessments for a property in Feltham:
"This building is one of the few original structures, but it has undergone significant changes since being built to meet the changing demands of the occupiers’ business needs and its current function is to provide catering facilities for staff. The building is single story and of traditional (Bricks and mortar) construction which forms part of larger structure. Entrance to the canteen is via a single door that leads directly into a vending machine/seating area. From this area it is possible to access the main dining/seating area for approximately 44 persons. This area is provided with an alternative emergency exit set into the side of the building. Approximately mid-way within the building is a counter area for the serving of food. This is provided with a gap area to allow access to the kitchen area, canteen office, a food store and a rear fire exit. The building is heated by a variety of electric heaters, some free standing and some wall mounted. Sprinklers and fire extinguishers are both provided."
